Get Inspired. Lighten up. Cross the veil of fear to love. Connect 2 the Big~Breath of life.

We welcome you to our on & off line sanctuary Artists of Living. This is a sacred meeting place for seekers hungry to share what is beautiful and precious about being human. Our Gym4theSoul offers the opportunity to engage with your breath in conscious, self-healing ways through music, movement, dance meditation, and awareness practices. Through the practice of b r e a z e, you can connect to the big-breath of life, which can carry you through your struggles, insecurities and challenges, in a natural, fun, and creative way.
“Life is a precious gift, a beautiful journey of which we are traveling souls, b r e a z i n g custodians, the ones we have been waiting for. However, the gift comes with a ‘crack’, a body-mind-spirit-disconnect informed by stress, anxiety, struggle, insecurity, self-sabotage and depression. If we don’t clear and own the ‘crack’, it can own us, make life a living hell, and turn our world into an ugly place. By connecting to your breath, and turning over your stress, you can calm your world and make the world a calmer, more joyful place. b r e a z e… lighten up. Transform the ‘piece of work’ into a ‘piece of art’. Make peace with yourself & be whole. Be present. Be love.” s.j.k.
You can become an artist of living and get inspired. Find the calm~joy inside your breath. Lighten up and cross the veil of fear to love. Breathe with ease. Move with joy. Find your pace. Be at peace. Experience restorative breathing, which is using the body and breath to experience ones being, both in action and stillness, with wonderful music. Feel both invigorated and at peace.

My Spiritual Journey
Greetings, my name is Samuel Jakob Kirschner. I’m a self-healer and the founder of Artists of Living. Thank you for your presence. It’s a pleasure to have you here. So as to get better acquainted, let me share a bit about my own journey.
I was born in a displaced people’s camp in Germany after the second world war. In 1948 I was one year old, when my parents immigrated to the newly established state of Israel. I always felt like I have been here before, and that I came to learn, evolve, play and enjoy. While I always loved life, had an incredible capacity to enjoy it, and felt at home in the world, I also always felt different, alienated and estranged, like I was carrying a deep pain. The pain of the world. A loss of my Self. A disconnect from the soul. Post Traumatic Stress. Like many seekers, I have weathered bouts of deep depression which spurred me to dig ever deeper to find the truth of my being and the meaning of my life. I feel that through surviving these bouts of depression, unbearable pain and deep loss, I have discovered the breath and learned how to reconnect to my soul. I believe that “We teach what we learn, and we learn what we teach.” (C.I.M)
In 1975, a year after moving from Paris, in pursuit of life in the gay seventies of New York City, of sex, drugs and rock n’roll, I was diagnosed with recurrent-severe anxiety and depression. Resistance to the prescribed medication led me to explore Yoga, Qi-Gong, Kabalistic, Zen and Vipassana meditation as a means of self-healing. Through my work with AIDS patients in the 1980′s, I have seen firsthand the potent resilience of our inner joy. The practice of mindfulness has taught me the power of the present moment, and meditative breathing techniques have led me to the source of healing, calm and joy within. I have discovered that at the core of my being, I am a child of God, a part of the universe, and a lover of life, connected to all beings through the blessing of the breath of life.
Through it all, I have learned that I can be calm and joyful, whatever is going on around me. Even in the midst of a storm, I can turn over my stress to the breath, and connect to flow of the present, and the love in my soul. I can be an artist of living. At this moment in my journey, I am clear that my reason for being is to share this approach with others. Moving ourselves from fear, stress and control to breath, heart and soul, we are moving the world toward more well being, calm and joy. We are Artists of Living.
I thank you for your interest and hope that we may work together in the future.
In health, joy, and compassion,
Samuel Jakob Kirschner
